Biography
ANN HUTTER-FRANK

Ann Hutter-Frank was born on October 1, in Nokomis Saskatchewan, Canada. Both of her parents grew up in small farming towns in Central Saskatchewan. By the age of nine the family moved to Calgary, Alberta where her father soon started working in the oil industry that was booming in the early 70's.
Ann's love of music started very early. She picked up the family guitar and a chord chart book and taught herself how to play. By age five she was playing chords and learning songs off her parent's records. By age nine Ann and her younger sister Debbie formed a duo and sang at school functions, Calgary Stampede Breakfasts, and house parties.

During high school a councilor advised Ann to concentrate on her education. After high school she took business training and worked for several years in property management. Then one night in 1991 Ann sat in the audience of a Robert Pante' show, one of the world's leading image consultants at that time and was intrigued by his performance. Ann appreciated the show for its glamour and professionalism. That show inspired Ann to establish herself as a certified image consultant.
With eight years of experience in corporate management Ann felt she was ready to start her own business and founded "Reflections of You" in 1993. Her business offered image related services. Ann marketed directly to the corporate world and revamped the personal image of employees for Royal Bank of Canada, Investors Group, and Sun Life of Canada.

Throughout her working career; Ann continued playing guitar and singing, and always had a music studio in her home so she could write and study music. One day while working with her client Anne Moxley, the two ladies started talking about music. That visit led to Ms. Moxley referring Ann to Event Producer, Chris Earthy.
Ann was given an opportunity from Chris Earthy that would forever change her life. Chris Earthy, of Earthman Productions, worked directly with Multi-Grammy Award winner David Foster, who hosted a C.B.C. television special called, "David Foster & Friends" in 1994. Chris Earthy gave Ann the task of preparing a young performer that appeared on the show.
During an industry meeting it was suggested to Ann to get involved in the management side of music; and as a result, "Reflections of You" evolved into a music entertainment company in 1997 and was renamed "Out West Management Incorporated". The company expanded and added personal management services for recording artists. That same year Ann lobbied to the Canadian Country Music Association, to honor a Canadian legend in Country Music with the "Hall of Honor Artist Inductee" award for a lifetime of achievement. Working with Executive Producer Howard Rosen, and Director Michael Watt, Ann acted as creative consultant for the segment on the artists' life, which aired on the Canadian Country Music Awards show in September, 1998.
When the Sheldon Kennedy story broke on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1997, Ann got involved by developing the concept of a theme song to be written specifically for the Sheldon Kennedy Foundation. Ann scheduled meetings between the foundation's executive, Sheldon Kennedy and song writers, and on May 5, 1998 the Sheldon Kennedy Foundation commissioned a song to be written for Sheldon's cause.

Independent artists have hired Ann to help write their business plans to pinpoint clear direction on where to focus their efforts. Attending industry events such as the Canadian Country Music Awards, Country Radio Seminars, and the Juno Awards, provides Ann the opportunity to see her mentors, associates, and other top professionals in the industry, which continues to strengthen her position as a key figure in the industry.
Entering her seventeenth year in the entertainment field, Ann has traveled extensively throughout North America working with artists. Her unique ability to make an artist feel comfortable during the creative stages of their career makes Ann an asset on a project. She is proud to be a part of this industry, and continues to work with recording artists to assist them with their performance image; thereby, putting a fresh new spin on their stage shows.
Ann strives to live her life with an attitude and purpose, and demands only the best from herself. She continues to push herself to achieve more creatively and has grown again by exploring her ability through writing short stories.
Ann's sole purpose in business is to make a positive contribution to the ever evolving global industry called "ENTERTAINMENT."
